Use base active topology
alternatives when using Query Based active topology mode. If you are using
child alternatives, all records will be local after applying queries, so there
is no advantage to using child alternatives for record inheritance purposes.
However, you may still prefer to create child alternatives purely for
organizational purposes.
We recommend turning On the
Automatically include connected elements option. For extremely large systems,
the automatic handling of connected elements can be time-consuming, so this
recommendation may not suit everyone.
